Update FAADC V1.1 FABS Report The FAADC application shall be updated to ensure the following requirement is implemented:
  • When the Assistance is for Grants or Cooperative Agreements (AssistanceType = 02, 03, 04, or 05) and no value is provided for the ‘Funding Opportunity Number’, then the text “NOT APPLICABLE” will be mapped for both the ‘Funding Opportunity Number’ and ‘Funding Opportunity Goals Text’ in the FABS report.

Further clarification:

  • When the Assistance is for non-Grants or non-Cooperative Agreements (AssistanceType = 06, 07, 08, 09, 10 or 11) then ‘Funding Opportunity Number’ and the ‘Funding Opportunity Goals Text’ will continue to be mapped to a NULL value in the FABS report. This is current behavior and will remain unchanged.
  • The FABS report will treat the values of empty or blank as null and the value “Not Applicable” shall be sent to the FABS report for Funding Opportunity Number and the Funding Opportunity Goals Text.
  • The conversion of lowercase letters to uppercase for the Funding Opportunity Number will continue for user-entered values.
Yes
IAEREQ-9731/IAEMOD-27631 FAADC issue with Action Type The FAADC application shall be updated to prevent the validation rule from firing incorrectly:
  • The rule states that the “Period of Performance End Date" cannot be earlier than the "Action Date"” when the user selects “REVISION” as “ACTION TYPE” during an “Amendment”.

Suppressing this rule will allow users to report Amendments for administrative changes after the period of performance of an agreement has ended.
