Update FAADC V1.1 FABS Report The FAADC application shall be updated to ensure the following requirement is implemented:
  • When the Assistance Type is Grants or Cooperative Agreements (AssistanceType = 02, 03, 04, or 05) and no value is provided for the ‘Funding Opportunity Number’, then the text “NOT APPLICABLE” will be mapped to the ‘Funding Opportunity Number’ column in the FABS Extract.
  • When the Assistance Type is Grants or Cooperative Agreements (AssistanceType = 02, 03, 04, or 05) and no value is provided for the ‘Funding Opportunity Goals Text’, then the text “NOT APPLICABLE” will be mapped to the ‘Funding Opportunity Goals Text’ column in the FABS Extract.

The new validation rule will be FAADC:2D6 – When the “Action Type” is “New Assistance Award”, “Continuation” or “Entity Change”, the "Period of Performance End Date" cannot be earlier than the "Action Date".
