User Privileges

User Privileges are located in the User Management screen.  'Available Privileges' are defined as rights the System Administrator can give the user.  'Current User/Assigned Privileges' are defined as rights the user has currently.

 

To add an Available Privilege to the selected user’s Current Privileges:

  1. Select the privilege from the 'Available Privileges' list.

  2. Click to copy the selection from the 'Available Privileges' to the 'Current User Privileges' side.

  3. Select .

 

To delete a Privilege from the user’s Current Privileges:

  1. Select the privilege from the 'Current User Privileges' list.

  2. Click to remove the selection from the 'Current User Privileges' side.

  3. Select .

 

System Administration User Privileges

This section defines the system administration user privileges provided in the FPDS system. The privileges are listed in the order they are viewed under the User function in the System Administration module.  See the following  list of privileges and their definitions.

 

Roles and User Privileges

The user privileges, located in the 'System Administration' section of FPDS, have three levels for Non-DoD Users and two levels for DoD Users. These privileges are defined by roles that are assigned to the User ID.  See the following tables for the roles in order of the level of privileges for Non-DoD and DoD Users.
